Ice and Hot Water
Ice and hot water, two
Different things, as hot
As magma, as cold as a
Glacier, in the open, the
Same.
A Questionable Poem
Do we believe in fate?
What is destiny?
All these questions,
You must answer,
What is truth and what is false?
None can tell you,
You just believe,
But still, questions last,
And we all strive to answer.
Happiness at Its Peak
Look at that owner,
And his happy, playful dog,
Smiles on both faces
Playing, petting, licking, loving,
Look at that dog,
Ears flapping in the wind,
Running, sprinting, and in minutes,
Gone.
Away.
Home in their house,
Going to sleep,
Waiting for another big day.
Into the Cocoon
My belly full,
It is time to sleep,
For how long,
I do not know,
When I wake,
I will decide,
What to do?
How long to do it?
Will I live to see
Tomorrow?
The Fight of Seasons
Summer, hot headed,
Winter, cold and cruel,
Met one spring day,
Mild, not hot or humid,
Cold or chilly,
And that is the day it began.
Winter hated her temper,
And Summer dodged disrespect,
Both muttering, "I'll get you soon."
Then they sat at the table,
Both thinking the same thing,
Plotting some revenge.
Summer dodge his crankiness,
And screamed out to him,
"So it's war you want, it's war you got!"
Summer enlisted July, June, and August,
Winter March and December,
And the seasonal war began.
That's when things got crazy,
When the seasons went to war,
January went off the chart,
And September just left,
February joined with Winter,
Summer threw a party,
And invited the other months,
To join his regiments.
You can probably guess what happened next,
The months got so tired,
Many needed a simple nap,
Summer and Winter kept on going,
'Til they could go no more,
The Jester sang, put on the crown,
The world was in disrepair.
In this world that none can bear,
You are happy it is just a dream.
