Eva's 10 poems

Salmon Swimming
That night was a group of salmon,
Swimming in a hazy blue sea.
that sunset I'll always remember,
Belonging to only my brother and I.

Sip
A simple glass,
Water clear,
Simple as can be.
Who would think

that without it,
We wouldn't be able
to say,
"You and I".

A
mbulance
Whizzing by.
dark light dark light.
Silent noise."Sounds" and lights,
Pulling me away.
Into the

unknown......

Spring Scents
Sniff it,
go on,
take a breath!It's fresh,
It's new.
It's right there.
It's true,
Really!It's the spring!Believe me,
It's all around.
you and
everyone else
,Can smell spring in the air.
Oops!

Now it's summer.
I guess
This poem took too
long!

Death of a Fish
Her fish died yesterday.
It was the saddest thing.she had another one though,
so it was alright!
She decided to give it some respect sooooo,She flushed it down the toilet.
When she returned to the tank,
The other fish was dead.
Sadly, she did not realize,
That she flushed the live one down
Instead.

Speak
Take a breath,
Ready for words.Am I ready?
Yes,I think so.
Here it goes....

"Hello."
Notes
Notes,High
and
low.
On a scale without weight.
Hold onto it.

Don't

Dark
Behind the
Black fabric wall.
No lights,
No
whispers
Except for the ones,
of the audience,
Waiting for the show to
Begin.

Ink

Colored,
Intense.
opening a world
of creativity.
Writing,
Reading,
Language,
Intelligence,
Where would we be,
Without it?
Nothing to write,
No reason to spell,
Not anything to read,
Zero pictures.
Thank you for color.
Thank you for ink.

Moving on in life

Saying goodbye,
To a world ,
It feels like,
We just met.
Soon entering
One so new,
and advanced,
Clapping and songs,
Moving through old,
Familiar hallways.
Smiles and tears,
On the old faces,
Of family and friends.
Hearing,
"See you soon"s,
And
"Text me"s.
Sadly,
Happily,
Moving on in
L-I-F-E.
